Summary

The role of the hourly Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and materia. Reporting to the "senior-level" maintenance Superintendent and maintaing liaison between Production and Maintenance. This positon is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinaiton of all planned maintenance work assigned to the at individual. The Maintenance Planner would ensure records and files are compliant.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Planning Clerk provides administrative and technical support to the Planning Department. It involves a board spectrum of activity. The Planning Clerk will assist the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler with all aspects of the planning process. This may include but is not limited to:

  • Metrics Documentation (Spreadsheets, Word Document generation)
  • Technical Library Construction
  • Collection of maintenance paperwork
  • Data entry

Minimum Education

REQUIRED:

HS Diploma or GED equivalent. Strong reading, communication math, writing, and analytical skills are required.

Working knowledge of Maintenance Software System(s); MS products; specific ally spreadsheet savvy, and working knowledge of Purchasing system and protocol. Must be familiar with applicable maintenance verbiage and terminology in order to effectively assist the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.

Two years of technical college preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Work enviornment includes, but not limited to, a normal office enviornment and construction site as well as climate extremes found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater tratment facility. This position requires an assoicate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. This position requires an associate to be able to be exposed to all chemical and all facilities. This position requires an assoicate to be to be exposed to all chemicals found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility. This associate must wear and /or use protective safety equipment required for the job and for various locations. This assoicate must be able to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings.
