Seeking salesfloor and inventory support staff at a popular recreational & medical dispensary in the Rogue Valley. The ideal candidate is looking for long term employment and opportunity for growth within the company. The position will start part-time with the goal to expand to full-time. Must be available to work weekends, especially Sundays, and be able to travel between two store locations. Compensation is commensurate with experience ($12.00-$12.25/hour). Candidate MUST have an issued OLCC Marijuana Worker’s Permit (CANDIDATES WITHOUT THIS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED).

Responsibilities

Check in vendors, sign for trade samples

Update flower menus and product placeards

Answer phones, check messages and check mail

Prep online orders and curbside pick-up

Prep flower for salesfloor (jar, labels, placards) and restock when needed

Help receive & assign products in Green Bits, barcode items, input test results

Budback; assist with prepping customer’s orders, weighing out flower, retrieving products from backstock

Supply reordering

Clean jars and containers

Monitor and update Green Bits inventory and maintain returns log

Monitor expiration dates and spoilage on products in inventory

Inventory organization and warehouse cleaning/organization

Clone care

Maintain and update inventory backstock log

Clean warehouse, offices, salesfloor, parking lot, bathroom, etc.

Inventory reconciliation (Metrc low inventory reports, hardcounts)

Working Environment

COVID-19 considerations:

Staff provided with masks & nitrile gloves, plexiglass installed at registers, 6ft social distancing markers present throughout the salesfloor, online ordering & curbside pickup available for customers, hand sanitizer provided to customers & staff

Monday - Friday; holidays and weekends

The position will start part-time with the goal to expand to full-time

8-hour and 10-hour shifts

Experience

Candidate must be issued OLCC Marijuana Worker’s Permit (CANDIDATES WITHOUT THIS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED)

Self-starter

Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual

Dedicated and long term goal oriented

Quick learner with a strong understanding of OLCC, OHA & ODA regulations regarding medical & recreational cannabis, and hemp products

Diligent worker with strong attention to detail

Previous experience in the cannabis industry is not necessary but is preferred

Team player

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to multi-task and organize

Tech savvy

Commitment to following compliance policies and protocols

Ability to problem solve

Strong communication and computer skills

Positive attitude and unwavering professionalism

Excellent customer service skills (1+ years of customer service experience preferred)

Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus

Work history in retail, food service, or fast paced office settings is valued

Education

High school or equivalent (preferred)
