The Senior Accountant provides support to Corporate General Ledger by preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and providing cost accounting support as needed to various departments throughout the Company. Maintain and execute monthly closing processes. Provide support as part of the annual independent audit of the Company’s financial statements as well as for the independent audit for the employee benefit plans.
Bachelors degree in Accounting plus 3 - 5 years related work experience. Strong PC skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills; demonstrate skill in team building and conflict resolution; demonstrate good planning, problem solving and analytical skills. Must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively. Experience in SAP 6.0, Maximo, Blackline, Promenta. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
