The program associate will help to accelerate and deepen Foundation efforts to promote the transformation of juvenile probation and youth justice systems on a local and national level. This role will also support site-based technical assistance, national partnerships and communications and scale strategies aimed at advancing the probation and system transformation.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field along with three or more years of related work experience, or lived experience with the juvenile justice system within the past 12 years. Graduate degree in a related field can also be substituted for two years of work experience
- Experience in promoting youth justice system reform efforts
- Experience working in community settings or with system leaders and staff in child welfare, juvenile justice, schools, mental health or other human service fields
- Commitment to and passion for working on behalf of young people
