The Prince George Replenishment Center is currently seeking to fill an opening on their team for a Maintenance Planner. This position's pay depends on skill level. Interested candidates must meet the minimum requirements to qualify for an interview.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and maintaining liaison between Production and Maintenance, this position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordination of all planned maintenance work performed on the plant site. Through supervision of the Maintenance Parts Room Associates, this position is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Further technical education beyond high school or vocational training
Minimum Maintenance A Mechanic technical and competency knowledge; demonstrated leadership and influential behaviors; and proven oral and written communication skills. Thorough working knowledge of Maintenance Software System (s); MS products; specifically, spreadsheet savvy; and working knowledge of Purchasing system and protocol; and company used timekeeping system.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Work environment includes, but is not limited to, a normal office environment and construction site as well as climate extremes found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility. This position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. This position requires an associate to be able to be exposed to all chemicals found in a poultry processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility. This associate must wear and/or use protective safety equipment required for the job and for various locations. This associate must be able to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings.
