Perdue Foods is looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking Affiliate Program Manager to join our Ecommerce team from our office in Salisbury, MD. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong capacity in establishing best practices and methodologies that facilitates, supports and helps drive the growth of our affiliate, influencer and other strategic marketing endeavors (e.g. comparison shopping sites, Amazon, and other CPA based programs).

You prefer to work in a fast moving, exciting environment, but you want to have fun while you’re working. You work with minimal direction, you’re resourceful at finding resolutions to issues and you like to problem solve your way around any obstacles you face. You’re passionate about modern eCommerce websites, and you love working with people – our affiliates and influencers require a personal touch. This role will report to the Director of E-Commerce and can sit in Denver, CO or Salisbury, MD.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Start up affiliate and partner demand generation channels, meeting and exceeding aggressive revenue targets. Partner demand generation channels will include comparison shopping sites, Amazon, and other CPA based programs.
  • Develop strategy for and manage/optimize all aspects of the Affiliate/partner programs including: commission structures, recruitment, onboarding, creative requests, communication plans, newsletter content development, incentive/promotion plans, paid placement strategy and negotiations, competitive monitoring and insights, etc.
  • Develop and implement a full ad plan for Amazon Vendor Central
  • Create, optimize and manage Amazon Sponsored Products, Product Display, Headline Search, Deals and Coupons, Buy Box and other campaigns on
  • Daily/weekly/monthly program monitoring and reporting, analyzing the data to bring back high-level findings and recommendations for improvement
  • Work very closely with internal merchandising team to source product deals, and work with top deal sites to secure deal posts
  • Work to source partnerships and placements with publishers that align with strategic business objectives
  • Manage and grow relationships with top publishers
  • Innovate, and identify new opportunities to drive incremental sales through our publishers
  • Responsible for managing insertion orders, invoices, and budget of affiliates
  • Continual evaluation and optimization of cost structures (commission rates, CPA, CPC)
  • Maintain brand quality assurance by monitoring affiliate practices and compliance
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technology team to implement tracking pixels, etc. for new or existing partners
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams including the broader marketing team, analytics, e-commerce, merchandising, and technology
  • Be the champion for affiliate and Amazon marketing within the team and broader organization
  • Some travel related to affiliate activities may be required (e.g. conferences, partner meetings, etc)

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent. College preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 4+ years experience with different affiliate networks and publishers
  • 2+ years experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central (AMS)
  • Experience with other digital marketing channels, including influencer marketing, shopping feeds, paid search and paid social
  • A demonstrated ability to build scalable, quality-oriented processes while maintaining a high level of client profitability and satisfaction
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing order to chaos especially in ambiguous situations
  • Prioritizes competing objectives appropriately and manages time with skill
  • Loves to continually learn and stay ahead of the industry pack
  • Ability to map opportunities, create and manage at operational levels, and produce consistent business reports to upper management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a matrix environment.
