Summary

This Accounting Intern position will provide an opportunity for hands-on, real-world experience in the Accounting department.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in Accounting Closing process assisting with month end accruals and other processes including printing out of source information. Trace monthly information into the General Ledger
  • Run / update month end management reports as directed
  • Perform file maintenance / changes to files as directed
  • Assist with maintenance of AgTech General Ledger profiles
  • Assist with physical fixed asset verifications including potential field visit, work on fixed asset listing and preparation of asset maintenance forms
  • Audit support and support of Federal Warehouse licensing proces

Minimum Education

Must be pursuing or already have a degree in Accounting and/or IT

Experience Requirements

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have strong communication skills including written and verbal. Must be able to work independently or in teams.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Normal climate controlled office environment. Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment. Able to move freely throughout the facility.
