OFFICE CLERK 3 AT BAKERS BREEDERS IN WEST VIRGINIA - LIVE PRODUCTION
Provides administrative and/or clerical support generally to specific department. Assist in answering the phones and communicating any messages, greet and manage visitors. Generate and distribute all necessary weekly production reports
for operations managment and provide administration support as needed. Calculate payroll at the end of each week and report the proper numbers to the payroll Department, to follow up with accounting that all reporting deadlines are met.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Be proficient in MTECH Version 7. Entering egg tickets, feed tickets, chargeouts, inventories and event sheets. Maintains updated systems for filing, inventory, mailing and databases. Compiles and maintain records of office activities and business transactions. Preparing new contracts, E Log issues, flock charging - crew, bloodtester, and vaccines, maintain monthly spreadsheets for litter, placements, and outside egg haul. Fleed maintenance - Gas cards, tags, insurance, and work orders reports. Assist with flock advisor/Producer written communication. Monitors stocks of office supplies, reports and re-stocks when there are shortages. Operates office machinery, including photocopiers, scanners, telephone and voicemail systems and computers. Handles incoming and outgoing office correspondence.Sorts and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail, including envelopes, packages, etc. Participate in Safety process and maintain Fleet Safety Manual.
High School or equivalent with emphasis in Business/Accounting.
4 plus years related experience. Proven experience in a clerical position. Excellent office, customer service and written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.
Prior experience working in the poultry, feed manufacturing or related industry. Working knowledge of MTech and stron computer skills to include Microsoft Office suite. Experience with accounts payable, receivable and payroll.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. 2. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. 3. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. 4. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment. 5. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
