Position Overview

The Senior Program Manager- Store Refresh will plan, budget, document and oversee the end-to-end management of all refresh construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a successful overall refresh project delivery on time and on budget.
  • Partner with Store Design leaders, construction and internal corporate departments to ensure that the scope and direction of each refresh project are validated and captured
  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, cost budget, onsite requirements, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Monitor, manage and report on project schedules, costs and risks
  • Partner with real estate and legal to support the execution of contracts and define landlord responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure their requirements are being met onsite and manage their expectations.
  • Review and manage change orders and contract compliance.
  • Conduct meetings on site with the consultants, construction crew and local authorities as needed.
  • Coordinate with the store team and communicate to them daily and weekly.
  • Resolve any unforeseen conditions with the budget and schedule in mind.
  • Review and approve payment applications and closeout documents.
  • Responsible for a successful overall refresh project delivery on time and on budget.
  • Develop and communicate weekly/monthly executive program summary

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in all aspects of design and construction with emphasis in project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management and contract negotiation
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to influence, motivate and drive teams
  • Superior problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions against time and cost pressures
  • Financial and budget management with emphasis in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Outstanding planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing priorities
  • Self-motivated including the ability to work independently and in a group as the project requires
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage change
  • Strong team player who can work effectively with others
  • Forward thinker, proactively looks ahead to avoid potential issues, costs and delays
  • Experience building, monitoring and controlling schedules and budgets
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web based applications
  • Ability to travel within the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification preferred

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
